Huntington SMART Roundtable Events – Round 2
Advanced Plan for Health was pleased to be invited back to participate in additional Huntington SMART Roundtable events following Neil Godbey’s Roundtable presentation with Huntington in April. This time, Taylor Godbey co-presented with Huntington leaders in roundtable discussions titled, “How best performing benefit plans use AI to archive double digit cost reductions.”

The presentations shared insightful and thought-provoking details on the background and history of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and shared examples of how APH’s Poindexter advanced and predictive analytics capabilities support healthcare intelligence and deliver quantifiable results for Huntington’s clients. The content shared was well-received by Huntington’s audiences in Canton, Independence (Cleveland) and Perrysburg (Toledo), Ohio as well as Southfield, Michigan.

Blog Insights

Bariatric Management Programs have proven to help minimize risk associated with the procedure and co-morbidities and to promote long-term success for health plan participants in their journey to attain and maintain an appropriate weight.

In order for Plans and Plan Sponsors to experience optimized near- and long-term benefits from bariatric surgery for weight loss, there is a need to provide comprehensive pre- and post-surgery support to those undergoing the procedure. Click here to read more of this blog.

Epidemiologic and statistical experts from the diabetes division of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) wrote an important article on the surge of diabetes complications between 2010 and 2015, largely due to lifestyle modifiable factors in the May 21, 2019 issue of JAMA. The article is a dire warning about young (age 18-44) and middle-aged (age 45-64) adults who disproportionately represented the resurgence in diabetes complications.

APH is dedicated to reversing this untoward trend – and has done so for many clients – but there is more work to do. Click here to read more of this blog.
