A Very Vintage Market Returns
Downtown Partners' major summer event, A Very Vintage Market, takes place in the
100 - 700 blocks of Jefferson on July 20 from 9 AM - 4 PM. Over 100 vendors will be on hand with antiques, vintage-inspired décor, repurposed items, architectural salvage, and more. The event, brought to you by Titan Broadcasting and Pinned It Creations, will include a food court and live music as well.

Outdoor Movies Wrap Up Downtown
Downtown Partners concludes the 5 & V Outdoor Cinema season with two movies this weekend.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World will be shown this evening, sponsored by Midwest Eye Clinic.
Smallfoot
will be shown tomorrow, July 13, sponsored by IowaWorks. The movies will start at dusk at the corner of 5th and Valley, but be sure to arrive early for games and prizes. Snacks and drinks will be available. Bring a lawn chair and join us in downtown Burlington for a night out!

Street Closures and Bicycle Routes for Burlington RAGBRAI July 26 and 27
What:
With such a huge number of riders coming into town, safety is at the forefront for Burlington RAGBRAI. In order to keep riders and residents safe, traffic will be detoured at select locations. As riders come into town, Gear Avenue south of the hospital and West Avenue from Gear Avenue to Howard Avenue will be closed. In addition, Mason Road between Roosevelt and Hageman Avenues will be closed to traffic except for those who live along the route. A detour will be set up at Starr Avenue to detour vehicles to Division Street. Local traffic is encouraged to steer clear of the closed sections, especially during heavy bike traffic times between 10 AM and 3 PM on Friday, July 26 and from 6 AM and 9 AM on Saturday, July 27. If you are out driving, please be vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times throughout the day and night. Please follow these tips and help make sure everyone stays safe during Burlington RAGBRAI.

Seventh Summer Concert of the Burlington Municipal Band
What:
The Burlington Municipal Band will host the Nauvoo Pageant Bagpipe Band. The regular band concert will begin at 7:30 PM, with a joint appearance with the Bagpipe Band. The pipers will give a special presentation at 6:45 PM, so we hope you will come early. The conductor will be Janel Harms. All concerts are family-friendly and free of charge.
