While fireworks are available for purchase now, they are not approved for use in Mason City until July 3 and 4. Be a good neighbor and wait until the approved dates and times. Remember that fireworks are prohibited within 200 yards of hospitals, hospice centers, and nursing homes. Click here for a map released by the Mason City Police Department to make sure you're in an area that can legally use fireworks.
Mason City allows fireworks on July 3 from 6-11PM and on July 4 from 6-11PM.
The Chamber office will be closed July 3 in honor of Independence Day.
Golf Outing - Hole Sponsorships Available
The Chamber's annual Golf Outing is scheduled for Thursday, July 30 at the Mason City Country Club. Hole sponsorships are available for $350. Hole sponsors will have the opportunity to win a complimentary golf team for the next year's tournament if their hole is voted favorite sponsor/activity at the end of the day!
Team registrations will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis and include green fees, a meal, and two carts per team. Sanitation measures and safety precautions are set to ensure a safe and responsible outing.
Registration is open for the 2020 Moonlight Bike Rideon Friday, August 21. Tell your friends and family to join us for a 10-mile bicycle ride throughout Mason City! Need a refresher of bicycle etiquette and sharing the road with bicyclists? Click on the video to the right.
