More projects are on the way to help the region catch up on transportation.
This week the Transportation Policy Board made a recommendation on the projects that would receive $533 million in PSRC's federal transportation funding. While the funding is a small part of the billions of transportation dollars being spent in the region, these are projects that make a big impact.

hey include major investments in bus rapid transit in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties, adding capacity to South Sounder, and converting jumbo ferries to hybrid electric, to name a few.
This is a merit-based process, with project sponsors detailing how their projects meet criteria, including support for centers and other key aspects of the region's growth strategy.
