With the Summer 2020 term taking place fully online, we want to make sure you are aware of the free resources available to all UW-Parkside students. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the various resources below as you work through summer and prepare for the possibility of remote instruction this fall. If you have any questions about what technology is available to you, please contact the Help Desk at 262-595-2444.
Student Resources Course in Canvas
An Online Student Resources course is available for self-enrollment within Canvas. This course is constantly being updated with new information is as up-to-date as possible for students.

There's information about on-campus support, online support, Kaltura, Collaborate Ultra, Canvas, and so much more.

If you would like to self-enroll in the resources course, please visit this link .
Download the Canvas Student App
Did you know that there is a Canvas mobile app for students? Download Canvas Student on your mobile device to access your courses wherever you are!

You can keep track of your course calendars, submit assignments, take quizzes, and more all from the palm of your hand! (Though we don't necessarily recommend the quiz part due to potential errors.) This is a great way to track your Canvas notifications such as when a new grade gets posted or when your instructor makes an announcement.

Just search for “Canvas Student” in Google Play or App Store!
Microsoft Office Suite FREE Online
Students have access to online versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a host of other apps available for free with your UW-Parkside credentials.

Simply log into your Rangermail account to access the apps (shown on the left) within the Microsoft Suite. Store assignments in your OneDrive account, take notes with OneNote, and more.

Desktop versions of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel can also be downloaded by students for use until graduation.
NetTutor Online Tutoring Available
