Record-Breaking Costco Campaign

This year, our local Costco locations raised a record-breaking $517,348, inclusive of a $79,716 corporate match, to support Valley Children's! As a long-time partner through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Costco has donated $5.257 million to support Valley Children's We are so grateful for their ongoing support for the children we serve.

Jose Ramirez Belt Auction
World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Lightweight Champion --and Avenal native-- Jose Ramirez auctioned off a signed WBC championship belt to raise funds for Valley Children's Hospital. The belt is a one-of-a-kind replication of the exact same belt he won March 17, 2018, at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden and  is signed by Ramirez, famed boxing promoter Don King, Top Rank CEO and boxing legend Bob Arum, and Ramirez's championship fight opponent, Amir Imam.

Chris Gamber, an Avenal native himself now living in Sidney, Montana, won this special item with a bid of $12,000.  Even though the championship fight had to be canceled, Jose Ramirez was present to award the belt to Chris in the ring. We are so grateful to the many people who worked hard to make this special fundraiser and event possible!
