• Middle School Intervention Funds – These funds are designed to provide financial support for middle school students who may not otherwise be able to participate in extracurricular activities or have access to student resources. Examples include (but are not limited to) field trips, camps, lunch balances, and Chromebook fees.  These funds receive a portion of the proceeds from the Crossover, the annual Middle School charity event.

• No Child Hungry/Gleaners Weekend Backpack Program - Gleaners Community Food Bank partners with P-CCS to distribute backpacks filled with nutritious food for children who rely on free or reduced priced meals during the week. Unfortunately, funding for the program has decreased over the years, so the EEF has developed a fund to help fill the gap. This fund supports backpack replacement and food replenishment.

• P-CCS Clothing Bank - Located in Salem High School, the Clothing Bank provides free clothing to families in need. The goal is to provide needy children in our school district with clothing that is similar to the apparel of their peers. EEF manages the financial contributions to the Clothing Bank and reimburses for their out of pocket expenses.

• P-CCS School Lunch Fund – This fund was created by P-CCS parents and helps pay negative balances on cafeteria accounts for families going through a financial hardship, but might not qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. Students who can potentially benefit from these donations are identified by P-CCS staff and referred to the school district's Food and Nutrition Services.

• Pay to Play Funds – For some families, the athletic participation fees provide a financial hardship and can be a barrier to their student participating in sports. The EEF holds funds for all three high schools and a middle school fund to help pay, or reduce the amount of the participation fee so all students have the opportunity to play. Families in need of assistance should contact their school’s Athletic Director.
