   JudgePresident Trump Nominates
Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court
Judge Brett Kavanaugh
On Monday evening, President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the nation's highest court and told the Senate, "This incredibly qualified nominee deserves a swift confirmation and robust bi-partisan support." The official nomination went to the Senate on Tuesday.

Tony Perkins and Shannon Bream

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins appeared on Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream and said, "I think he's [Judge Kavanaugh] solid on religious liberty, I think he's solid on the life issue, I think he is an originalist. And that's all we're asking for."

Here is a backgrounder on Judge Kavanaugh. If you would like to read what other conservatives are saying about him, click here. In addition, here are some various statements of support from Senate and House members.

Before President Trump even announced his nominee, Senate Democrats began to erupt, such as Senate Democrats calling for any nominee to be obstructed are following the precedent set by the 2016 Presidential election year Supreme Court vacancy. Here is a correct the record document.

Campus Reform, a project of the Leadership Institute, released this video of students expressing their dislike for President Trump's SCOTUS pick before President Trump had even chosen someone.

The fight to confirm Judge Kavanaugh will be intense. The Left will do everything they can to defeat conservatives. To combat their efforts, Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) launched a $1.4 million ad buy on national cable, digital, and in four states including Alabama, Indiana, North Dakota and West Virginia featuring an introductory bio spot about Judge Kavanaugh. The ad will run for one week, and JCN has already reserved another four weeks of airtime nationally and in those four states. JCN has also launched a resource bank website: www.confirmkavanaugh.com

congressmanCongressman Jim Jordan Is Being "Railroaded"
Senator Jim DeMint
Congressman Jim Jordan
Jim DeMint, a former U.S. Senator from South Carolina and Chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute, wrote an article published on Tuesday in The Federalist entitled Jim Jordan Is a Man of Integrity Being Railroaded with Factless Allegations  .

Jim wrote, "Like many Americans, when I saw last week's headlines about my friend, U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), I couldn't believe them. The accusations did not describe the man of character and courage I've known for more than a decade. When I read the actual stories under those headlines, my reaction turned from dread to outrage. Jordan isn't being accused; he's being railroaded." The article explains the issues.

Protect Life Rule to Govern Title X Funds
On June 1, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a proposed rule to update the Title X family planning program. Known as the Protect Life Rule, it clarifies that abortion is not family planning and should not be part of the Title X program.

Approximately 500 Planned Parenthood clinics are Title X clinics, and Planned Parenthood receives nearly $60 million annually from Title X. Finalizing the Protect Life Rule will stop Title X from siphoning taxpayer dollars to the abortion industry.

The Protect Life Rule is subject to a 60-day comment period where the public has the opportunity to express our views. It ends July 31....in only 19 days! The comment process is simple and takes only seconds to complete. Click here or here if you wish to leave a comment. Please do.

Disassociation from the SPLC
Family Research Council (FRC) issued a joint statement signed by 40+ organizations that reads "the Southern Poverty Law Center [SPLC] apologized in writing and via video for having falsely listed Maajid Nawaz and the Quilliam Foundation as 'anti-Muslim extremists' in one of the SPLC's most notorious products, The Field Guide to Anti-Muslim Extremists.... With this significant piece of evidence in mind, we call on government agencies, journalists, null corporations, social media providers and web platforms (i.e., Google, Twitter, YouTube and Amazon) that have relied upon this discredited organization to dissociate themselves..."
