Here's your monthly Partner Update from the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau!
July 2018
trolleyTuolumne Adventure Trolley Rolls Out

The Tuolumne Adventure Trolley is a new partnership between Tuolumne County Transit Agency and the TCVB. The TCVB is underwriting the cost to operate and promote this new summer Saturday service through September. The route includes stops at hotels, shopping centers, downtown areas and attractions in Sonora, Columbia and Jamestown. We are very excited about this partnership and offering this service free of charge to residents and visitors. It will get cars off the road on busy Saturdays and encourage riders to visit many area attractions.

Article Feature: Sonora was named one of the "Top 10 Lake Towns of 2018: Fantasy Waterfront Retreats at Bargain-Basement Prices," by Realtor.com. The article describes Sonora as a Gold Rush town, the Gateway to Yosemite and a city escape with affordable living. This is a great message to entice companies to relocate or start-up in Tuolumne County for a more affordable and relaxed way of living.

Weddings
The TCVB partnered with Rush Creek Lodge and Indigeny Reserve at a recent Bay Area Wedding Fair in Palo Alto. Many of the brides-to-be had not decided on a wedding venue and  showed interest in the idea of an outdoor destination wedding in Tuolumne County.
mediaIn the Media

The TCVB continues to host a record number of travel journalists. Two upcoming media trips include Visit California's UK Super FAM and a Black Diamond FAM. (Black Diamond is the TCVB's media and trade agency in the UK). Both groups will feature 4-6 journalists from the UK. A FAM is a familiarization tour. These tours will help to acclimate journalists, Black Diamond staff and Visit California staff on Tuolumne County. We look forward to receiving more great media coverage from these trips.
