Weekly Bulletin - Nov 13, 2019
|
|
As the daylight hours shorten and we bundle up against the chilly days, we try to find moments to relax into the season and fan the flame of our inner lights that they can shine bright on the darkest of days.
In the Children's Garden, we mark this shift with lantern walks - each child makes a lantern to carry along the journey, welcoming the darker evenings with cheer and good will, finding their own pace along the path as they carry their lights through the darkening hours.

Give the Gift of Your Time to WWS at the Bazaar!
Believe it or not, the bazaar is less than two weeks away! Did you know that every WWS parent is expected to serve a shift for the Bazaar? It truly takes that many hands to make our school's signature community event happen. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer! If you haven't committed to a shift yet, please
sign up today, and if you have volunteered but have more time to give to this great cause, please sign up for another!
For those of you who will be helping with set up on Friday, November 22nd, after the 12:30 (half-day) dismissal, please
sign up for childcare if needed.
Please note: Parents must be on site at WWS while children are in childcare.

Where we need you most (UPDATED)...
Crystal Cave: Many shifts are still available for set up and day of the bazaar. This very special and beloved activity takes many hands to set up. Please consider volunteering here to make it special for our children. On the day of the bazaar, we need 4 people at every shift to make this activity well run for our children. Please give your time here!!
Castle Catapult: This is an easy activity to staff and you get to make lots of children smile! We only have one person for most shifts but we need two signed up for each shift!
Face Painting and Henna: This activity gets very crowded. Please consider joining this activity - you don't have to paint faces or apply henna - you can take tickets, help clean up and help children pick out their design. Face painters are welcome too. of course, but we need all sorts of volunteers to make this lively activity a success.
