SIGNS OF GOD'S GRACIOUS LOVE
Dear faithful people of Saint Peter's Church

July 14, the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost focuses our attention on Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan and reminds us, through Word and Sacrament, that God in Christ is our dependable neighbor, rescuer, and healer.

Carole and I will return from our vacation on Tuesday, July 23.
Cantor Bálint Karosi is on European tour in Germany and Director of Music for Jazz leaves soon for Denmark. We are pleased to welcome organist Walter Hilse and Cantor Donald Meineke as our guest organists during Bálint’s absence.

Peace and Joy — and Courage!
The Rev. Amandus J. Derr
Senior Pastor
