Ohio State's Vice Provost visits Ethiopia
Vice Provost for Global Strategies and International Affairs Gil Latz and the Global One Health initiative (GOHi) Executive Director Wondwossen Gebreyes were in Ethiopia in October to visit GOHi's regional office and meet with local leaders to promote future collaboration to continue improving health and capacity in eastern Africa. While there, Latz also visited the U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia to speak to Ethiopian students about pursuing an international education The Ohio State University.

Funded Travel Spotlight: Pallavi Oruganti
This summer, I had the opportunity to travel to Mpumalanga, South Africa to conduct field research for a project entitled, "Influence of sociodemographic factors on infectious and zoonotic pathogen risk in a resource-limited community at the wildlife-livestock interface, Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Region, South Africa." I conducted this research as part of the Veterinary Scholar Summer Research Program with support from the Global One Health initiative (GOHi) and the College of Veterinary Medicine Global Engagement Travel Scholarship.
