Cancer Care  has a library of over 300 publications for individuals coping with cancer, as well as their loved ones and caregivers. The library is made up of fact sheets and booklets, which are available instantly online and downloadable as PDFs. Physical copies of select publications can be ordered and sent free of charge.

Hope and Healing at CancerCare's Healing Hearts Family Bereavement Camp   

CancerCare's annual Healing Hearts Family Bereavement Camp is a special place where families can laugh together, cry together and remember their loved ones together.

 
On the second weekend of June, CancerCare hosted the 11th annual Healing Hearts Family Bereavement Camp, a free retreat for families and children coping with the loss of a loved one to cancer. For this year's butterfly themed camp, 27 families spent the weekend at Memorytown USA in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania.
 
 
 
 
CancerCare Oncology Social Worker Selected for the 2019 AOSW Fellows Cohort
 
Richard Dickens, Director of Client Advocacy at Cancer Care , LCSW-R, FAOSW, was selected by the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW) for the 2019 AOSW Fellows Cohort with the designation - FAOSW. The purpose of AOSW Fellowship is to recognize and honor those who have made outstanding contributions to the practice of psychosocial oncology.

The Longest Day of Golf gives our most dedicated lovers of the sport the opportunity to test their limits and raise substantial funds and awareness for Cancer Care , while giving them bragging rights for completing a golf marathon like no other. Here are the upcoming dates:

Leading Experts Discuss Important Cancer Topics 
CancerCare's Young Professionals Committee Hosts Second Annual Fundraiser 

On June 20th, Cancer Care 's Young Professionals Committee held their second annual fundraising event. The event was held at The Michael Kors Building in Soho and was attended by over 100 industry leaders under 40 years old from the greater New York City area. This year's event raised funds for a new Cancer Care  scholarship to benefit young adults attending college who have lost their parent(s) to cancer. See photos from the event
