Do You Know a Young Professional that Would Benefit from Attending the CUDE Training?
LCUL's Young Professionals and Louisiana Credit Union Foundation are now accepting applications for their annual CUDE Scholarship. The Credit Union Development Education Program (CUDE), a program of the National Credit Union Foundation, instills in attendees the WHY of the credit union movement. Attendees leave with an intense renewed passion to enhance their impact not only at their credit union but also in the movement as whole.

Is there a young professional at your credit union that you think would benefit from attending this week long training? Here is the link to the application that you can share with them!

Applications are due by November 30.

"Going through the FiCEP Program with LCUL has not only taught me how to help my members, but also how to help myself. I was able to learn things that will help my finances, and in doing that, I will be able to help my members with theirs."  Bailey Beaugh, NAS JRB CU

"Since implementing the program we now see the effects of a more informed and confident staff of lenders. Employees who have participated in the program have a broader picture of the financial aspects of our members and are able to provide better advice and better service."  Lloyd Cockerham, Ascension Credit Union

Help Us Share the Credit Union Difference: Share Your Member Stories Today!
We often get asked by legislators what makes credit unions different from banks. Make sure your political advocates are ready to answer that question with your member stories. Often we share how we have helped a member when we are among our peers but not when asked to write it down. Please take this call to action and submit your member stories to LCUL's Communications Team today!
