CHAPEL OFFERING
|
Second quarter chapel offerings will be donated toward Heaven's Family.
Family of Christ chapel funds and Youth Group are teaming up with Heaven's Family to support two missionary efforts. The goal is to support existing efforts that are currently creating DMM's (Disciple Making Movements) in unreached areas of Africa. This way rather than just digging a well in a remote place we are actually helping to plant and support Christian efforts from local missionaries.
Our project is to fund a deep water well in direct support of Big Life and One Body Global. Big Life has missionaries in Malawi (the poorest country in the world) that would support villages with a combined population of 5000 people. The second well is in Uganda where 1 Body Global is on the ground creating disciples of Christ. This well will directly support two schools and a hospital that many remote people travel to for care.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
|
Operation Christmas Child is a Christmas ministry from Samaritan's Purse that touches the lives of millions of children around the world.
It is a very simple and inexpensive donation you can make that offers the opportunity to demonstrate the true meaning Christmas. All you need to get started is an empty, standard sized shoe box. We are asking you to purchase items to fit inside the box that matches your child's gender and age. If your family chooses to put together more boxes, you can fill them for any age or gender. Samaritan's Purse is also asking for a $9 donation to cover the cost of shipping and handling for each box.
National Collection Week will be from November 18-22nd. Please send in your child's box bound with a rubber band or tape with the label (sent home in family folders or at the link below) to the school office.
