School Enrollment for 2021-2022
FINAL REMINDER FOR ALL CURRENT FAMILIES: Once registration opens to the community on March 1, we cannot guarantee a spot for returning students. A $75 preschool enrollment fee and a $50 grade school enrollment fee (per child) will reserve your child’s spot for next year. There is the potential for classes to fill up, so all school families are encouraged to enroll now to secure your child's spot. Once registration opens to the community, classes will fill on a first come, first served basis. Information and enrollment forms went home in January or you can access them online by clicking here. Please return the Admission Form with payment. Feel free to send it in with your child or place it in the office dropbox by the gym door. Thank you!
Accreditation News
Our preschool and school both passed the validation process! Every five years, on a yearly rotation basis, Lutheran Schools go through a self-evaluation process that requires a team of educational peers to visit, evaluate, and offer insights as to what we do well and where we could improve. Over the past 2 years we have had many behind-the-scene committee meetings to prepare for this 3-day visit. We hosted a team of 8 members on February 21-23 who verified all our work and provided a brief verbal exit report on how we are doing as a school. We wish to thank all those who helped prepare throughout the entire process which led up to the actual visitation. We give our Lord and Savior thanks and praise for all the blessings only He alone provides!
Staff Anniversaries
Congratulations and God's blessings to the following staff members who celebrated anniversaries at the conclusion of the 2019-2020 school year: Dianne Kramer (20 years at St. Paul), Karen Bass (15 years at St. Paul), and Lara Polzin (5 years at St. Paul). We give thanks to God for their faithful service and pray that the Lord blesses them with many more years here with our St. Paul family!
Easter Egg Hunt Is Planned for Saturday, March 27!
Plans are underway for an outdoor only Easter Egg Hunt on March 27, 2021. Though we may not be able to offer many of the event features as we have in past years, we look forward to celebrating Jesus’ resurrection with the families who attend the outdoor Egg Hunt. Many of the details are still being planned, taking the best safety precautions into consideration, so be sure to check upcoming bulletins for more information.
Candy donations are needed to fill eggs. Small, wrapped candy that will fit inside a small plastic egg is preferred. We are also asking for volunteers to fill eggs. Bags of eggs will be provided and can be picked up at the end of each church service on February 28 and March 7. You may choose to donate your own purchased candy to fill the eggs, or candy will be available for pick up, as well. Simply pick up a bag of 100 eggs (and candy if needed) and take home. Fill the eggs and return to church the next week. If you have any questions or can volunteer your time for the event, please call or text Vicki Begick at 525-3733 or Lynn Hendrick at 450-1969 or contact the church office.
