Everett Family Farm July 2019
Everett Family Farm News & Updates
Happy Summer! It has been an interesting couple of weeks. We got hit hard with a caterpillar of unknown origin (maybe the citrus fields of SoCal or the local oak trees) that took out over 50 of our two-year-old apple trees. We were so bummed. The following week we experienced three separate honeybee swarms. We've only seen two before so this was a special extravaganza directly from Mother Nature, perhaps to make up for the caterpillar disaster? Such is life on our farm, each day brings new challenges and beautiful sunsets.

We had an incredible Outstanding in the Field event, thanks for all 180 who attended and in doing so show their strong support for small family farmers, we appreciate it. Below are some fun pics of that event. This event sold out in hours, so get your tickets for our next big fund raising event for the “ Teen Kitchen Project ” soon to assure a seat at the table!

Please note: Strawberry Shortcake event on the farm is CANCELLED

Sorry for the late notice, we are cancelling our strawberry shortcake event on the farm due to lack of an abundance of strawberries. The berry harvest ebbs and flows throughout the season and we just don't have that many to spare right now, bad timing on our part. Stay tuned for more events planned throughout the summer, and enjoy fresh picked berries daily at the farm stand.

The farm stand currently has strawberries, raspberries (limited), Santa Rosa plums, flower bouquets, kale, chard, head lettuce, salad mix, garlic, potatoes, summer squash, cucumbers, beets, basil, cherry tomatoes (limited), and apple cider.

 We're open 7 days a week 10 am - 6 pm
We had an amazing dinner with Outstanding in the Field - our 14th year!
