Dear Riordan Families,

We are doing everything we can to resume in-person classes this fall. We love and miss our students, and were encouraged by the American Academy of Pediatrics' recent statement that "strongly advocates that all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school."

Simultaneously, we are preparing for a variety of models, collaborating with other schools on best practices, and following announcements from state and local governments and health organizations. In the coming weeks we will be delivering a plan that gives an overview of our community's needs and our goals as we prepared for multiple scenarios.

Parent feedback is vital to this process, especially in regards to how our hybrid (combination of distance and in-person) learning models might work with your family's schedules for work and transportation of your students to and from school. We ask you to complete the survey by Friday, July 3 by 3:00 pm.

This survey does not mean that we are definitely running a hybrid model; we may still run full distance learning or full in-person learning, but we want your feedback on these hybrid models because they are very different in terms of transportation and supervision at home.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope you are having a restful summer.

Sincerely,

Mr. Nate Simon
Dean of Academics
