We've added some shine to the collection at indigenous with Sondra Gerber's hand brushed aluminum sculptures and clocks. Sondra's sculptures have an intimate interaction between shape, shadow, reflection and movement. The use of positive and negative shapes within the intricate cut of her designs cast alluring shadows that interact with the piece itself. Carefully planned out patterns and textures are ground into the surface to reflect light, creating the appearance of movement. Arranging multiple layers of images challenges the spectator to look beyond the surface. This is the hallmark of her work. Many of her pieces have fused glass accents or painted areas to add interest.

Find an appealing group of charming characters - from Day of the Dead-inspired works to sweet beasts - sloths, dog, fox, crow, bunnies, cats, ladybugs and more!

"I create one of a kind folk art dolls from cloth & clay. Each doll is designed and created entirely by me from conception to finished product, including clothing & all accessories. I design, sew, stuff, hand-sew, paint, photograph, package and market each & every piece. Each piece of art involves many hours of sewing, hand-stitching, tedious painting & needle-felting. The result is a beautiful heirloom to be treasured by family for years to come."
