SciENcv Designated NSF-Approved Biosketch Format
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is encouraging the use of the National Institutes of Health’s SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) to generate biographical sketches for NSF proposals.

Beginning with the next PAPPG (January 2020), NSF will only accept biographical sketches generated through an NSF-approved format such as SciENcv. A description of NSF-approved format(s) will be posted on the NSF website when the 2020 PAPPG is issued.

Reporting 25% Carryover to NIH
For awards under SNAP, a justification is required if more than 25% of the current year's total approved budget (including prior-year carryover) will be carried over to the next year. Encumbrances (i.e. unliquidated obligations) should not be reported as unobligated balances. Address encumbrances in the justification (as NIH will question any difference from PMS due to encumbrances) and indicate plans for expenditure of carryover funds within the current budget year.
