It is with great sadness that I inform the congregation of the passing of Jerry Rose. Jerry, a long time member of our community, was a devoted attender of our morning minyan and Shabbat morning services. Just a couple of weeks ago, he came almost directly from a hospital bed in order to say kaddish here for his beloved Barbara on her yahrzeit.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Temple Beth El. Interment will be at Wellwood Cemetery on Long Island. The family will sit on Tues from 5-8 PM and Wed 3-8 PM at 1450 Washington Blvd (use underground parking) in Stamford. Services will be held there on Tues. and Wed. evenings at 7 pm. On
Thurs., shiva will be held from 4-8 PM in Astoria, Queens, at 19-21 22nd Drive.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Ferguson Library or the charity of choice.
May God comfort the mourners among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
