Work Together to Create Amazing Customer Experiences

My brothers and I have owned and operated downtown businesses for nearly two decades. We face the same struggles as every other downtown business owner-we need customers. The way we see it is that we need to raise awareness of our business and bring more foot traffic to the downtown area-more people means more sales. But the question that plagues all downtown store owners is the same, "How do we get consumers to come downtown?" We decided that collaborating with other business owners was the best way. We thought that if we worked with our neighbors, we could create experiences that would draw consumers to us. And we were right!

By actively becoming a part of our business community and working together with others (facing the same problem) we tailored experiences that were not only appealing to the public but increased foot traffic and sales in our businesses.  Read more

Builders Association of Greater Lafayette and Greater Lafayette Commerce are pleased to invite you and your family to our first Construction Career & Education Expo.  This is an expo where attendees will have the opportunity to talk with businesses from all facets of the construction trade, i.e. - Architect, civil engineer, mortgage broker, millwright, wind turbine technician, welder and more.   There will be tons of hands on activities!   
 
Everyone is welcome at the public session from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. No registration required.

Sister City Student Exchange Program
July 8-18 
 
Every other year, students from Greater Lafayette visit Ota City, Japan as part of a student exchange program.  Greater Lafayette Commerce helps to organize the program, which has been in place since Subaru of Indiana Automotive moved to Lafayette.
 
If you know a Tippecanoe County High School Student who would be interested in this trip, please share this information with them. 

Students will be able to experience a different culture, new places, and the life of a Japanese student.

Purdue University Men's Basketball Coach Matt Painter is competing against 47 other D1 NCAA Men's Basketball coaches in the INFINITI Timeout For the Win challenge, raising up to $1 million for the American Cancer Society to help defeat everyone's rival - cancer.

Now through March 11, 2019 fans can vote for Coach Painter, helping him place in the top three on the national leaderboard and win a donation by INFINITI in his name to the American Cancer Society.
 
You can vote up to three times, every day, by doing the following:
