4th Annual Niagara Safety Awareness Day
The Niagara ICI construction industry shone a spotlight on safety this past May 9th at the NCA's fourth annual Niagara Safety Awareness Day. The free event, which took place at the Grantham Lions Club in St. Catharines, featured over 20 exhibitors covering all areas of safety – products, suppliers, services, expertise, training / certification (WHMIS, GoldSeal, COR), as well as an expanded schedule of demo's and overviews covering First Aid (ladder fall, fainting/CPR/AED, and anaphylaxis episodes), Working at Heights harness demo & safety, fall protection, rescue demo, reversing alarm technology, dump box warning systems, dropped object safety, cyber safety, wellness/injury prevention, surety, and financial safety and more. Attendees beat the weather odds and were treated to a super delicious lunch from GoGo Canadiana's food truck, as well as outdoor, real time safety demo's from DiCAN and 3M Safety. Deepest thanks to all involved for their commitment to safety. We can't wait to announce the date for next year's 5th Annual Safety Awareness Day!
