We just hosted our Northern California Law Seminar in our new CMworld virtual platform. Was it successful? Surveys are going out and we look forward to the responses to help us gauge how best to provide YOU with platforms that allow all members to engage with each other.

From what I saw during our inaugural NCLSE, through your avatars you were very engaged with each other. The education sessions were successful, from a technological as well as content and presenter perspectives. Wow, what a talented and experienced group of professionals educating our members!

Sure, there were some technological challenges on the first day related to the Expo Hall. We own that and worked through the night to get it corrected. There are always challenges in advanced technology when you roll it out at the level that we did. We roll with it, and learn from every single challenge and only get better because of it. I can’t wait for the Southern California Law Seminar!

We will always offer a virtual option for education, but individually, I can’t wait to get to see you in person! We all hear the same information related to the pandemic, so we all know there isn’t real data yet to assess when we can hold in-person events. But because event planning requires months of advanced work, we are planning on holding the Executive Leadership Summit at the Loew’s Resort on Coronado.

We are also planning two one-day expo events later in the year. These events will include an educational component, lunch, an expo experience, a casual networking event and Vision Award ceremony (did you think I forgot?). We are waiting just a little longer before identifying dates and locations to allow these locations to open back up at full capacity so planning can start. Of course, we will be making the appropriate announcements when these have been coordinated.

I look forward to “seeing” you very soon!
