Greetings!
We are very excited to get started this week with our conditioning program. This is new to all of us, so we will need a little patience as we all navigate our new rules! Please plan on getting to practice a little early to check in this week.

We are still in need of a few more coaches, especially in the Midget sprint age group If you have a few days a week to help please contact Coach Elaine 661-373-6897 asap!
Safety will be of the upmost importance to us all for athletes, parents, and coaches. Please click on this link that outlines the L.A. County / CDC guidelines.
We ask each parent to monitor their athlete's health and by bringing their athletes to practice they agree that their child is free from all Covid-19 systems, and has not been in contact with anyone that has had these symptoms or have been diagnosed with Covid -19, in the past 10 days . There will be a board up at every practice to remind you of them. If an athlete exhibits any system they will be sent home. In addition we ask each athlete to follow the protocols below.
Check your Child temperature before practice ( should be below 1.04 degrees)

Wash hands before coming to practice

Wear a mask to practice, and to your practice pod. (these can be removed once we start our work out if wanted)

Keep 6 feet distance apart when not wearing a mask. Parents are also asked to keep their 6 feet distance and wear a mask and avoid grouping together while at practice. You can bring a chair and sit on the front sidelines if you want. Hand sanitizer will be available at each age group station.

We will be giving out 1 free Storm mask per child, they can choose either a ear loop mask or a gator type mask. You can pick it up at the check in table.
We will also have Storm Spirit wear available at practice all week if you would like to get in the Storm spirit .

All waivers need to be turned in by before athletes can practice

We will be following all Heath Department guideline and rules for participation. Masks will be mandatory and we will include one Storm Mask for each athlete!
We have set up a sign-up genius to make sure we have enough help to start the practices this week. Please click on the link to volunteer for one of the needed parent jobs. This week we will need extra help to give out Storm mask before and after practice
Practice Schedule Week of Feb 16th

Tuesday, Feb.16 - Central Park Fields 7/8
Thursday, Feb 18 - Central Park Fields 7/8
Saturday, Feb 20 - Valencia Heritage Park fields

Please be sure to bring a water bottle with you child name on it,
also make sure your child has warm up gear and running shoes. We will have a shoe vender at Saturdays Practice!

Distance Training -all age groups
6:00 - 7:15 - all new athletes must be approved to attend distance practice for safety reasons

Intermediates - Birth Years 2003 -2006

Saturdays all age groups meet at 8:00 am
Parent meeting 8:00 before practice!
We are asking all parents to please come and stay for a quick meeting to answer all your questions about the season! We will have Storm Spirit wear available.
We will also have a shoe vender, Fleet Feet at practice if you are in need of training shoes!
Every athlete must have a signed copy of the City of Santa Clarita COVID-19 Waiver signed and returned before they can participate in our program.
