The start of the year is an excellent time to fish for grouper, redfish, sheepshead, pompano, and mangrove snapper inshore. On the reefs, you’ll have great luck with whichever bottom fish are open to harvest.
February
With average water temperatures hovering around 63-65°F and average high air temps of 77°F, February can be a great time to get out on the water. Redfish, Sheepshead, and more are still to be found in abundance.
