UCIE Staff Spotlight: Belinda Grody
|
|
Hello, I am Belinda Grody and I work at the University Center for International Education as an International Student Coordinator processing applications for admission. I have the pleasure of working with applicants from all around the world to help them obtain admission to Wright State University. I have been with Wright State and the UCIE office since April 2007. Fairborn is my hometown so I get to welcome all the students to my town. So, since I am a local and I should know, the best place in Fairborn to eat is Giovannis Pizzeria. When family comes to town, that is where we always eat!
I have participated in two Ambassador Programs with the UCIE office that allowed me to study abroad. I went to France, England and Italy. I would highly recommend the programs. Going abroad with a group allowed me to discover that it was not difficult to navigate and I fell in love with each country! I feel that I can definitely travel by myself anywhere now! Everyone should study abroad!

Been to Hocking Hills? Nasser was there last weekend with a group of friends and this is what he had to say
"I really had a good time hiking with friends. The scenery was so beautiful and I had time to appreciate nature. The caves are so cool and I'll love to go again"
