Hello Parents 🙂

To normalize these times for our children, participation is crucial. Our PTA is putting together a slide show for Heritage Night and would love pictures of your student in traditional outfits🙂 We also need a short performance of your child representing a culture ( be creative!!). Please send the pictures and videos to secretary@normanrockwellpta.org by November 30th. The slide show and video collage will be private and only viewable with a link.

Thank You,
Mansi M. Majeed

It’s that time of the year again!

Rockwell’s PTA is looking forward to our very first VIRTUAL Heritage Night on December 3rd, 2020! This event has always been a fun filled and educational way to celebrate the cultural diversity of our students and this year will be no different. We are looking for ways to make this yearly tradition another success- virtually. Please reach out if you'd like to help with the event (either hosting a recorded dance lesson, a cooking lesson, or a video sharing something important or significant from your family's country of origin). Stay tuned for additional details, and ways you can volunteer. If you'd be interested in participating, please email Mansi at secretary@normanrockwellpta.org.

Attention families of 2nd and 3rd graders! After spending 8 months in the middle school art room waiting to get fired one more time our students clay projects are on the home stretch! A huge thanks to Redmond Art Works for allowing our projects to be fired the final time. At the December fetch day, Friday the 11th, please stop by the PTA table between the gym and 5th grade classrooms (where we handed out yearbooks) to receive your students art work. We have them sorted into the classrooms your students were in for the 2019-2020 school year, so please remember who your students teacher was last year to help us match the project to the student. And tell your friends who are no longer on Rockwell mailing lists! If you have questions please email, artdocentchair@normanrockwellpta.org The clay project is an example of what the PTA brings to the Rockwell Community. Please consider joining us here, and donating to the ABC funds here to provide more fun projects like this!  https://normanrockwellpta.org/Packet/Membership%20mid%20year/SignInPacketPage/0
