Greetings!

Hard to believe the year is just about half over. Will you accomplish everything you planned for this year? Do you need to re-think those goals that sounded great last January but now seem unreasonable? Or has your situation changed to the extent you need new goals?

One of my goals was to better define my business parameters and determine how best to move forward. I have changed my office space - although still in the same building (The Terraces at the corner of College and Winkler) - and have fine-tuned my product line. I am working with a Virtual Assistant to improve my web site and social media footprint. Stay tuned for more improvements as the second half of the year unfolds.

It's natural to want to improve whether it's on a personal level or professional one. Feeling good about yourself is key to living your best life. I am fortunate to be in the business of helping others feel good and look great. I see people come alive when they recognize the best version of themselves in an Image Matters consultation.

If you haven't had the joy of seeing how great you look, and feel, when wearing your most flattering palette of colors or if you struggle with trying to find clothing styles that look good on you; if you have a closet full of clothes and feel like you have nothing to wear then call me. Now is the perfect time to get yourself ready for a fantastic fall/winter season looking and feeling your most glorious self. Click here to learn more,

Wherever summer finds you, I hope you take time to enjoy all that life gives you.

ANTI AGING SKIN CARE ISN'T JUST FOR THE "AGING"

Lets face it, our skin is the first place to show signs of aging and it can happen as early as our twenties. Loss of collagen production, sun damage and other environmental factors can all leave their toll. Starting early with a regular skin care routine makes sense if you want to forestall the aging process, because the best time to start using a skin care regimen is before you look like you need it! Basic skin care involves regular use of a cleanser, toner and moisturizer, with added sun protection when spending prolonged periods of time outdoors. Always wash your face both morning and evening and NEVER go to bed with makeup on.

Beyond Basic skin care means adding treatment products with ingredients that can address those pesky signs of early aging. Today, one of the most widely used and popular ingredients is peptides. Peptides are among the most powerful and interesting ingredients being used in anti-aging products.

By definition, peptides are short chains of amino acids, which are called the "building blocks" of organic molecules. Peptides are particularly effective at relaxing certain types of facial wrinkles, treating wrinkles in a way similar to botulinum toxin injections. However, peptides can be used anywhere on the face, whereas injections are limited to a small area. Peptides also stimulate the deeper, matrix layers of the skin which increases collagen production. More collagen = firmer skin, less wrinkles.

I am introducing a new line of anti-aging products called Beyond Basic. This is age-defying skincare with powerhouse peptides to help stimulate collagen production, promote cell turnover, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and enhance anti-oxidant defense mechanisms.

These super anti-aging products will be available mid-June. I am offering a special incentive to the first 5 lucky women who place an order for the Beyond Basic Collection. Individually, these 4 products will retail for $159.00

If you are one of the first 5 to place an order you will receive the Beyond Basic Collection for only $65! That's a 60% discount! And shipping is free!

How to order? These new products aren't available on my website yet so call me 239-454-0044.

MORE ANTI-AGING TIPS

Want even more help looking and feeling better? Try some of these additional anti-aging tips!

1.
Wearing clothes that fit your body makes a difference in how you appear to others. For most women, aging means a few extra pounds on the body. And many women will try to "hide" those extra pounds by wearing clothes that are too big for them. When your clothes hang too loosely you look sloppy and that translates to tired and old. No one should be in clothing that is too tight and shows bumps and bulges. But clothing that is too loose is just as bad. Your goal should be to wear clothing that is made for the body you have, that fits you well and that highlights your assets and minimizes your flaws.

2.
Pay attention to accessories. Getting into clothes that fit you well is great, but if you don't accessorize you are basically saying, "I'm too tired to do any more." It only takes a few seconds to add a necklace or scarf and to choose a handbag and shoes that coordinate well with what you are wearing.

3.
There aren't too many things that make a women look older than an out-dated hairstyle. If you haven't changed your hairstyle in the last 5-7 years, you are probably dating yourself. If you don't visit a hairdresser regularly (4-6 times a year), you are probably dating yourself.
These three famous women all looked great with these hairstyles - at the time. If you wore your hair like that today you would look very dated.

Gray hair doesn't necessarily make you look older. (I hope not!) Every women needs to decide for herself when she is ready to accept gray. As long as gray hair is styled and looks healthy, it can work beautifully.
Short or longer, both these women are rocking their gray locks!
The woman on the left is wearing a dress that fits her body well and has added a neutral/nude handbag and shoes, which is very on-trend and looks so much better than matching white accessories.

The woman on the right has accessorized with a sweater and scarf, upgrading her image instantly. The white jeans and white shirt would be dull and boring without the accessories.
