The Morning Star Weekly Newsletter Vol 5, Edition 25 2/16/2021
Dear Morning Star Families and Friends,

Tomorrow, February 17th is Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, and it is a time of prayer and fasting. As a school community, the students and staff will attend Mass together including our remote learners who will join virtually. Although, we can not invite parents and families to attend Mass with us at this time due to health and safety guidelines, please know that the entire Morning Star School community will be in our prayers.

During this Lenten season, students and staff will have opportunities to come together to pray and to have some quiet moments with Jesus. Each Friday, students will pray the Stations of the Cross within their religion classes. I pray this Lenten season that we will be open to God so that He can guide us as we learn and grow as Christians.

God Bless,
Elaine Shott, Principal
