On July 7, 14, 21, and 28, Pastor Dennis will do a four-week series on the life of Abraham Facing the Unknown. 
BLOOD DRIVE

PAZ DE CRISTO
2nd Tuesday of each month
The 2nd Tuesday of each month Shepherd of the Hills goes to Paz to cook for and serve the homeless. Carpooling is available.  We leave from the upper parking lot at 3:15 pm. For more information or to carpool, please contact Don Wirth.  
SHARE YOU TALENTS!
During the summer months our choirs are on break, so, it's the perfect time to bring forth special talents of the congregation. If you play an instrument or sing, please consider offering your music up as special music during our Sunday worship. See Deanna for more information.

We are looking for a host home for the July 14 Second Sunday Social. Everyone is invited to bring an appetizer or dessert to share. The host provides the beverages. FOOD DRIVE
EXTENDED HANDS FOOD BANK
Extended Hands Food Bank in Fountain Hills supports over 1,000 men, women and children in our town. They are in need of items such as soups, peanut butter, jelly, vegetables, spaghetti, tuna, main dish meals, etc. We need your help...please bring your items on Sunday to the Narthex or during the week to the church office.

PRAYER CARDS are available in the pew backs. You may place your prayer requests in the prayer boxes located on the Usher's table, in the Narthex, and outside in the prayer box on the circle drive.
SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS
July 14 - July 19
Incoming 3rd - 9th Grade
Shepherd of the Hills is offering Summer Camp for Kids at Camp Aloma in Prescott, Arizona this summer.

Camp activities include sports, archery, crafts, Bible encounters, great food, campouts and night activities. Plus, the older kids go canoeing.  

There is roundtrip bus transportation which picks up/drops off in North Phoenix, or you may drop and pick up your campers as well. For more information or to register email Julia@sothaz.com.

Each morning you will receive an email which includes an opening prayer, daily Bible reading, closing prayer and digging deeper section, all accompanied by beautiful pictures and artwork what tie the reading together in a very meaningful way. RECYCLING
Bring your newspaper, cardboard, and soft cover books for recycling. Tell your family and friends. The bins are located in the lower parking area off of Fountain Hills Blvd.
OPPORTUNITY FOR MINISTRY
Thank you to those of you completed the "Opportunity for Ministry" forms that were inserted in the bulletins the past two Sundays. Doing so enables you to participate in the ministries at SOTH where you'd like to serve. If you haven't completed this form, they can be found on the usher's table as you enter the Sanctuary.
