CONGRATULATIONS to our Scholarships winners:

This year Oregon will have 44 delegates at the National IDA conference in Atlanta.  We are so pleased to announce our scholarship winners for this year.  We look forward to meeting you in Atlanta!

Dollie Marie Becktold (Halfway, OR)
Adriana Espinosa (Corvallis, OR)
Liliana Jimenez (Forest Grove, OR)
Jan C. White (Redmond, OR)

Special thanks to  Cherida Collins Smith whose generous support funds these scholarships.

Many years ago Cherida was a student of Gloria Davis, a past president of IDA- Oregon.  Gloria took her to an IDA national conference and Cherida thought it was so wonderful that she wanted Oregon teachers to be able to attend.  This is how the scholarship fund began - 30 years ago.  We have been able to help teachers attend the IDA National Conference every year since 1987!
