Last September 21 children from New Dehli, India, Monrovia, Liberia, the Colca Valley of Peru and Eastern Nepal boarded planes and began their once in a lifetime journey across the United States. From the time that the children landed in Seattle to their arrival in the St. Louis area, the children have been blessed by the wonderful generosity of their hosts. Matsiko has been on the road for seven months, traveling through 27 states, and every stop has been memorable. The children love sharing their message of HOPE with everyone they meet. They have seen some of the great sites of our nation, but their greatest memories are spending time with the amazing people who have opened up their homes and hearts to host them.

The children have grown by leaps and bounds during their travel. There were some growing pains as they worked to unite as one team from four very different backgrounds in a strange land. But they've come together as a family and made the most of whatever challenges they faced. Through the hard work of their chaperones, the children have gained greater academic competencies in reading, writing and math. Through their schooling sessions on the road, each child has mastered the foundations of their education. They are now branching out in their subjects and are excited to show their classmates at home just how much they have learned!

None of this would have happened if not for the generosity of people like you who have supported International Children's Network. We wish you could see firsthand the transformations of each of these children. Their lives are changed. They are more confident about their futures, and for the first time in many of their lives, they feel like they have a true sense of family. Thank you for being a part of these children's lives!

We have 2 1/2 months left on our journey  back to Seattle. We hope to see many of  you in the Western states before the tour  ends! We still have many openings for  performances.
