Plan now to join us for WVBankers Legislative Day on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Charleston Marriott. WVBankers Legislative Day presents a great opportunity for members of the Association to meet with legislators, including legislative leadership.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by a briefing from Loren Allen, WVBankers Counsel and Director of Government Relations, who will present the Association's legislative agenda and provide pre-capitol visit briefing information. Registered attendees will then be bussed to the Capitol at 8:30 a.m. for meetings with the Senate President, Speaker of the House, Clerks, and Banking Committee chairs.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., attendees will have the opportunity to meet with their elected members of the legislature or attend select committee meetings. The group will then return to the Marriott for lunch. The WVBankers Board of Directors and Future/Emerging Leaders will meet during the afternoon.

LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION
Held in conjunction with WVBankers Legislative Day, our annual legislative day reception will be held 5:30 - 7:00 p.m., at the Charleston Marriott. Historically, approximately 150+ bankers, legislators, and guests attend this event throughout the evening.

Legislative Day briefings, lunch, capitol visits and legislative reception are open, without charge, to WVBankers bank members. Bankers at all levels are invited and encouraged to participate.

To succeed in today's banking world, bank officers need the wisdom and expertise that comes from perception and insight, an astute ability to discover, discern and decide. It's that kind of knowledge that the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University has been offering to experienced bank officers for over 70 years.

Completion of the program has become a requisite to professional advancement in many banks. Executives at multi-billion dollar financial institutions as well as community banks find that the School's curriculum addresses their educational needs.

The 2020 session runs May 25 - June 5, 2020. Join thousands of other executives who have attended GSBLSU and have left the school with a new kind of knowledge - one that separates them apart.
