Hogwarts Prep & Yule Ball
We 're excited to again offer Hogwarts Prep arts wo rkshops this fall! This time, we have preschool, elementary, and teen workshops through December, leading up to our two big Yule Ball events (one for families and one for teens) on New Year's Eve at the Savage Library!

Fall Readmobile Visits 
The Readmobile delivers learning, literacy, and fun during our fall visits in Belle Plaine, Prior Lake, and Shakopee. Check the Readmobile page for more information and the schedule of public visits!
Readmobile Weather Information: For the safety of our visitors and staff, the Readmobile may cancel site visits during severe weather warnings, advisories, or unsuitable driving conditions (icy or snowy roads). Check the webpage for the latest information.
The Readmobile vehicle and start-up collection were funded by the Diane J. Sachs Trust and a grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.

Fall Early Literacy Classes & Storytimes 
Early literacy is what your child needs to know about reading and writing before they learn to read & write. Let the library help develop your child's early literacy skills with the five practices of Talk, Sing, Read, Write, & Play at our Early Literacy classes and storytimes !
WEATHER POLICY: If local schools close due to weather, morning children's events that day are cancelled; call for status of weekend, afternoon, or evening events.
