Welcome Back ASMS Community!
Happy New Year!

My name is Allyson McMaken. I joined the ASMS community as a staff member this past fall. It has truly been a pleasure to be part of such a vibrant institution, and I am excited about the direction of our communication and alumni relations.

From a communication perspective, we have started many new initiatives. We established the weekly newsletter, increased our social media presence, and held an on-campus photo and video shoot (look out for new content in 2020!). We are currently establishing branding standards for the school and in the process of upgrading our website. In terms of alumni outreach, we are implementing a monthly alumni e-newsletter with outstanding alumni feature articles. We have also started inviting alumni back to campus to speak to and meet with our students. Our goal is to soon establish an alumni association.

I am looking forward to what 2020 holds and honored to continue telling the stories of our exceptional students, alumni, faculty, and staff!
