When visiting Denver, your body will need to adjust to the altitude. It is recommended that you drink plenty of water.  Read about this tip and more so you can stay healthy while you visit Denver.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Check in on Level 3. Print your badge and collect your registration materials.

Check-in date and time
Thursday, June 27th at 7AM
( preconference attendees can check in on Wednesday, June 26th at 3PM)

If you are a first-time attendee, plan to attend the orientation session.
BE CONNECTED
Download Attendify , the conference mobile app. It has the full schedule, hotel and exhibit hall maps, and more. NASN uses the app to send notifications on site. Attendees can use it to send direct messages to each other.

Set up or "brush off" your Twitter account so you can tweet your conference experience. If you'd rather not, you can still read the tweets from other conference attendees. The #NASN2019 "feed" of tweets is visible in the mobile app.

Check your email for messages posted on the conference discussion list. And, listen for announcements before and after general sessions.

Handouts: Abstracts and any handouts or slides shared by speakers are in the mobile app schedule. If you purchased a syllabus, handouts are in the syllabus.

WHEN YOU'RE NOT IN THE CLASSROOM

NASN Affiliate meet ups: Connect with members of your NASN Affiliate delegation to see if they are planning any meet ups.


Show your support: Consider bringing a little extra to donate to the endowment fund; see the volunteers with the balloons. And, participate in the community giveback project .
FOR YOUR HEALTH



  • Bring exercise clothing to participate in the morning fitness events.

  • Don't forget your medical ID bracelet if you have one.

  • Use sunscreen when outside.

  • Layer your clothing to adjust for air conditioned rooms.

  • Dress in smart casual and wear comfortable shoes.
