Parent-Student Workshop!

We have a full program that includes an in-depth overview of dyslexia, an engaging student panel of dyslexic young people, and some cutting-edge information about how technology can make a big difference for students (and adults) both in school and out.

Finally, we will spend a few minutes at the end of the day discussing some advocacy initiatives that will allow you to transform your newly-acquired knowledge into positive action.

Students: Middle School and above welcome to attend.

A Walk in the Park

 

Fundraising Event Benefiting Students with Dyslexia

 3rd Annual Walk In The Park will take place on Saturday, May 18th at 10AM.  This event includes a 5K walk, BBQ lunch, live entertainment and prize drawing. Registration begins at 9AM at Park Academy on the lower campus.

A resource guide for parents and teachers of Washington state was recently posted on the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction's website.  The Washington Branch of IDA worked in cooperation with OSPI to develop this guide.  Help us get the word out!
