COVID-19 Update
Lord, You have raised us from the earth; may you let the seeds of justice, which have sown in tears, grown and increase in Your sight. May we reap in joy the harvest we hope for patiently (from Mid-Day Prayer for June 15 th ).
Dear Friends in Christ,
We have had to be patient for a long time; may God bless all of your efforts to reach out in ministry, especially in Multnomah County. We continue to pray for an end to the uptick in COVID-19 cases even as we look for more creative ways to support and help our parishes. Today’s mailing contains a repeat of the announcement about “Re-Imagining What a Catholic Parish Can Be” and also information about a Parish Webinar for Pastors on how to have difficult conversations.

Re-Imagining What a Catholic Parish Can Be: A Destination for the 21 s t  Century
Parishes are longing to “return to normal” after this time of social distancing, working from home and seemingly constant Zoom meetings, but it appears unlikely that is going to happen. Instead, we are going to have to adapt and adjust to a new normal. PPP FLEXIBILITY ACT OF 2020 –   Financial Services Department Updated Guidelines issued June 10, 2020 .  If you have not applied for a loan, there are still funds available and you are encouraged to apply.    Please read the attached   MEMO  for additional details. As new developments become available, the Financial Services Department will continue to send out updates.
