Update on the Hillview Advisory Sessions
Teachers took some time to build community and get to know their students. They spent time on teaching compassion, playing games with their students, and had conversations about what they wanted the advisory space to look and feel like for the rest of the year. This was a great way to meet the students emotionally. Collaboratively teachers and students will build the advisory space together.
The last advisory session was on resilience, this article in The New Yorker
here
is a fantastic one.
