HOW MUCH IS ONE (1) LIFE WORTH!
Yours, mine, our spouses, OUR children! To improve our chances of receiving the best care:
"HOW ABOUT THE PRICE OF ONE (1) CUP OF COFFEE A WEEK?" Unfortunately, 2 summers ago, we witnessed the loss of a dear Marcoite who went to the Marco clinic, received "some" medical attention, however, in my opinion, the county's protocol with the facility, limited medical treatment and transportation delay, robbed him and his loved ones of his life!

AS A 50 YEAR MARCOITE--HERE ARE THE FACTS-ACCORDING TO BILL!
1. The county has treated us like a bastard child at every opportunity!
a.) We have to beg the county for a 2nd ambulance in season (3-4 months).
b.) 28 Marco Island paramedics cannot administer the pain, anti-seizure and heart medications you need unless they are on a Collier County ambulance that carries these drugs-determined by county MD.
c.) The county can pull our ambulances off-island at any time for medical & transport service anywhere in the county. The county removed our one (1) ambulance off Island during Hurricane Irma, contrary to the City's guarantee of a safe location, along with the first responders who stayed on the Island.
2. We are a "donor city"-- which means we pay more taxes toward the County EMS services than we receive in return --- subsidizing Collier County EMS!
3. County voters have said in two (2) referendums that they want EMS Consolidation which can only reduce Marco's control, efficiencies and patient care for our residents and increase costs!
MARCO LIVES SHOULD NOT BE AT THE WHIM OF COUNTY POLITICIANS!
