You Know Me. I Ride a Bike.

Bike Fort Collins first launched You Know Me. I Ride a Bike. back in 2015, where we featured local residents for whom riding bikes is big part of their life, in a broader awareness campaign. Beginning this month, we are excited to reintroduce this bio-series, where we'll feature one new Fort Collins resident each month highlighting their love for bikes and for riding them.

We're thrilled to announce longtime Fort Collins resident and bicycle commuter, Duane Daire as our first featured resident this month. READ MORE
Paint the Pavement

As we reported in our December issue, Bike Fort Collins continues to work towards an open, virtual, community gathering aimed at discussing our proposed Paint the Pavement initiative, ideally for the intersection of Canyon Ave, Magnolia St, and Sherwood St. We are grateful to our volunteers who recently helped canvass the neighborhood in that area in an effort to foster inclusive community representation and engagement. Our hope is to hold a virtual community discussion in late February. Watch our website and/or social media channels for updates. In the meantime, we encourage community members and stakeholders to register to be involved. SIGN-UP
BFC Book Club
New for 2021, Bike Fort Collins is excited to announce and introduce the BFC Book Club focused on community building, bikes, bicycle advocacy, and how it all applies to our lives in Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado area. The goal of the book club is to increase engagement among all our constituents while educating and advocating for more bicycling or safe cycling initiatives—hopefully creating more advocates and ambassadors for the BFC mission. READ MORE
Intersection / Facility Focus

This month's intersection/facility focus features the intersection of Hickory St, College Ave, and Conifer St. Have you experienced conflict or felt unsafe at these intersections? Particularly as it relates to traveling east/westbound on Conifer and Hickory connecting from the Hickory/Poudre trail to the low stress bike network east of College Ave. We invite you to take the following survey as we work to improve the overall safety of our streets and improve overall bicycle infrastructure connectivity. Your voice matters!
In our December issue, we conducted the same survey and posed the same questions for the Linden St & Poudre Trail intersection. Thank you to those who responded. READ RESULTS SUMMARY
Business Partner Profile

Membership Business Partners are business members of BFC, who also provide a special incentive (i.e. offer, discount or perk) for our individual and family members.

This month we want to highlight and thank Membership Business Partner: Joel Blocker Photography.

Joel is an experienced photographer and videographer, based in Northern Colorado and focused on public relations photography including event coverage, real estate, nonprofits and fundraisers, and health care, in addition to portraits.

Joel Blocker Photography provides BFC member(s) a two-hour photography session with edited, digital photos for only $100.

A big thank you to Joel for his support not only as a Membership Business Partner, but for partnering with BFC to shoot events like our Tour de Farms ride.
