In praying for one of the businesses that is a partner with Anna's Gate, I heard the word "cog" and then saw a large gear with many teeth. The Lord showed me there were no teeth missing and that it was ready to connect with other gears to get the job done. Next, I saw several gears of different sizes and positions come into place. They were connecting together with their teeth matching the teeth of other gears and it was gaining momentum for the business for which I was praying. Then I saw an old clock with many gears which were all fitting together. order to flow in sync. The power turning our gear and the gear of the business above surprisingly is "praise"!
I asked the Lord "why praise?" He began to show me that praise comes from a grateful heart and from choosing to be thankful even in the worst of times. (Phil 4:4) It takes us out of the problem and into His perspective. Praise will open the doors to worship. As we enter into the worship of WHO God is (which is so much greater than the problem) it will seat our mind in Heavenly Places! When we are in this rightful place in which He has called us, ALL our needs are met according to His riches IN GLORY that are ours IN CHRIST JESUS! He wants to shift us up into a HIGHER gear, one of power, above the limitations of this earthly life!
We have just finished the Feast of Booths or Tabernacles also known as Sukkoth on God's timetable. It follows a time of repenting and making things right with God and others. Then for seven days, the Lord had His people stay in temporary dwellings and in many cases uncomfortable circumstances to remind them of when they left Egypt and had no permanent homes. They were on their journey to their promise. They were to be grateful even though they hadn't reached their promise yet. It is a picture of our lives being just temporary here and many times dealing with uncomfortable situations. But we too are to rejoice and be glad. We are to be grateful for there is an 8th day coming! The number eight represents a new beginning! It is a time to shift gears with praise so we can enter into the promises of God!
