The End Begins
Left-wing NGO and underminder of Israel, Freedom Protection Council,
will no longer receive funding from the EU.
According to the EU statement, the decision to stop the funding is a direct result of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “diplomatic efforts."
Netanyahu stated: “
This is only the beginning. We will continue to take determined action against organizations that seek to delegitimize the State of Israel and strive to defame the state and the IDF around the world
.”

New Town Will Boost Jewish #'s
Ir Ovot, the
name of the new village approved for the Arava region
, was given final approval. This is part of an overall plan to boost the Jewish population in southern Israel. The new town will include 500 families and be spread over a wide area of some 1,100 dunams (that’s an estimated 990,000 square meters).

The New York Post - Published 8/9/18
Thanks to Zev Chafets for repeating the principles "that have been the essence of Jewish nationalism for more than a century: The
land of Israel
is 'the historical homeland of the Jewish people.' The
State of Israel
is 'the national home of the Jewish people" And, in that state, the Jewish people are uniquely entitled to "
national self-determination
." He goes on to state that the Israeli flag, the anthem, the Hebrew language are all part of the very beginning, the essence of the creation of the State of Israel.
The fact that Israel has to continually fight to assert these obvious identity issues is so exhausting. Affirming what Israel IS does not deny the rights that have been enjoyed by Arabs, Druze, and other minority groups within Israel. If anything, Israel bends over backwards to support those rights, often to the detriment of the Jews themselves.
Driving throughout Israel one sees traffic signs in Hebrew, Arabic and English. On my latest visit to Vienna I observed that the only language officially displayed anywhere was German. Has there been an outcry about that?
World, please allow Israel to embrace its history and culture without the ongoing attacks, threats, and onslaught of anti-Zionism with which it is constantly assaulted. Enough.

Recognize
Golan Heights Sovereignty
Members of Congress have called for U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, but it is
important that the American people send a message to the Administration
as well.
