YOUR OPINION MATTERS
We want to hear from you....and time is running out! If you haven't already done so, please take 3 minutes to let us know how our programs work for you. This includes all playgroups, parenting groups and home visiting. Your feedback matters. It points us in the right direction, and it helps keep our programs free or low-cost by letting our funders know the results of their support. Thank you!
UPCOMING PARENTING PROGRAMS
Relative Caregivers
It is estimated that more than 12,000 grandparents and other relatives are raising children in NH, and many of these families report that they have no one to turn to for day-to-day support with parenting. We are offering Garandparent and Relative Caregiver RECHARGE groups in Seabrook and Somersworth to help caregivers connect with each other and with local resources available to them. Discussion topics range from the special education process and communicating with teens to custody and legal issues.

If you are a grandparent or relative caring for a child, call Patrice Baker at (603) 422-8209 to learn more and to sign up.

Meetings are held monthly, they are free, and gas cards are available. Free child care is offered with advance sign-up.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS
Families First will be hosting an information booth again at the Kittery Block Party. We hope to see you and your family there.

Parent education this summer will focus on two terrific parenting books: No Drama Discipline by Dan Siegel and Tina Bryson (Tuesdays at Families First) and No Bad Kids by Janet Lansbury (Thursdays at Goodwin).
