CancerCare's 2018 Helping Hand 
 

The 2018 edition of " A Helping Hand: The 2018 Resource Guide for People With Cancer" is now available!  This free, comprehensive booklet lists  organizations that offer financial and practical  help to people with cancer, and provides tips for  managing cancer-related costs.

CancerCare Staff Featured in the Journal of Clinical Pathways

Cancer Care's Chief Strategy and Policy Officer, Ellen Miller Sonet, was recently interviewed by the Journal of Clinical Pathways to discuss her work with Cancer Care's Patient Values Initiative. This initiative intends to reframe the national healthcare policy dialogue to ensure that patients' values and priorities are incorporated into treatment decision making.

Helaine first came to Cancer Care after being diagnosed with uterine cancer. She found support from individual counseling with an oncology social worker and through Cancer Care's online support group for people coping with gynecologic cancers.
