Congratulations to the 6th Grade Student that would like to remain anonymous for winning the AMAZING “T-shirt Contest” with over 60% of Votes!!! A Round of Applause and Big Thank you to all participants that submitted a Drawing. Inspired by The Florida Boy that hand-drawn design, that was made into a shirt, after his story went viral for been bullied at school. RIPPOWAM IS READY - Start placing your orders RIPPOWAM Students & Staff!  We want to see everyone wearing THE WINNING T-SHIRT this year.

PINK OUT Day Items

Pink Out Day items will be sold during lunch waves on 10/24, 10/25, 10/28, 10/29 + 10/31.

  • Socks: $5
  • Head Bands and Hair Extensions: $2
  • Eye Black, Mustache, Sticker Tattoos, Ribbons, Stickers etc: $1


Decoration Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for parent volunteers to help set up for the Halloween Dance on Friday, October 25th anytime from 2:30pm - 5:30pm. Sign-Up to Volunteer

Photo Retake/Absentee Day
November 14th

Who Should Go on Absentee/Retake Day:

  • Any student not satisfied with the original portrait - Return your complete portrait package to the photographer on retake day.
  • Any student who was absent on the original day
  •  Any student who did not purchase on the original day and would like to purchase a package.

The first general PTO meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday (10/22) at 6pm . This PTO meeting will include an Internet Safety Presentation by Scott Driscoll of Internet Safety Concepts   - Mark your calendars, you do not want to miss it! See flyer below...

The PTO Board met this past Tuesday and reviewed some mini-grants for classroom enrichment. Your donations make it possible for the PTO to continue to provide teacher's their requested mini-grants! We also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bartoli, Principal of J.w. Wright Technical School. Please see below flyer for upcoming events.

We will vote on the budget at the first general PTO meeting this Tuesday (10/22). The PTO Board met on 8/26 to review this year's budget. The first event that the PTO is helping to fund is the Internet Safety Presentation on 10/22. You can donate on-line HERE so we can continue to fund important events throughout the year.
Rippowam Drama Club Spring Musical will be Footloose, auditions will be December 17 & 18 for more info, please check out our website www.rippowamdramaclub.com

In the mean time, come join us for our Improv workshops, (10/23; 11/6; 11/13; 11/20). We'll meet in the Cyber Cafe right after school until 3:30pm. It's a lot of fun and a great way to get to know each other!
