PSALMS BIBLE STUDY taught by Becky Staab
“The Psalms offer us a way of joining in a chorus of praise and prayer that has been going on for millennia and across all cultures.” N. T. Wright

Come join us for an eight week study of the Psalms - “the hymn book that Jesus and his first followers would have known by heart.” N. T. Wright, The Case for the Psalms
It will include a general overview as well as study of several specific Psalms, and at the same teach a method of Bible study described in Jen Wilkin’s book, Women of the Word.
Homework each week is designed to help you observe what the passage says, supplemented with questions from Kathleen Nielsen’s Psalms, Volume 1 . Teaching and small group discussion during class will lead you through the processes of interpretation (what does it mean?) and application (how should I respond?) - both personally, and in community.

Then she explains how you can feel and see God’s power working in your own life and for those whom you pray. Her step-by-step approach to having daily regular prayer time even includes details such as how to create and maintain a prayer journal to record what God is doing to change your life.

        Healing the Heartbreak of Abortion
Abortion can be one of the most traumatic experiences in a woman's life. Surrendering the Secret is a powerful 8-week study that helps hurting women find the path to healing through honest, interactive Bible study. With compassion, you will be encouraged and supported as you allow God into rooms of your heart that might have been sealed for too long. It's time to let go of the shame, accept His forgiveness, and heal. All you need is to be willing.
