RepMO Hero Nominees
Throughout the school year we will take turns recognizing outstanding certified and classified employees through our RepMO Hero program. District employees submit nominations and then a nominee from each department group and building are submitted to a district selection committee who chooses one individual to be the RepMO Hero of the Month! That individual is recognized and receives $500 for his/her department or building to spend on resources of his/her choosing.

For September the following RepMO Hero nominees were celebrated! These individuals go above and beyond the call of duty to help us reach our mission of "preparing each student for a successful future." Thanks to each of them for their service! We'll share the RepMO Hero of the Month for September later this week!

Such a simple, yet greatly important, life skill these Sweeny students learned during their "Special Impression Drill." During their "drill" they were able to put their knowledge to work by greeting other students using good eye contact, smiles, firm handshakes, fist bumps and hugs. #repmoproud
Expansion of Burrell Behavioral Health Partnership
This fall Republic School District will be expanding their partnership with Burrell Behavioral Health. Republic High School began their partnership with Burrell in January of 2019. As of October 1 all elementary buildings will be included in that partnership as well! This opportunity allows for eligible students to receive mental health services through Burrell in the school setting.

Our mass notification system's settings have changed. Any student, employee or guardian cell phone number in our system, beginning October 9, will automatically be opted-in to receive text messages from the district. Users will no longer have to opt-in to receive texts from us. That said, on October 9 at noon any cell phone numbers that have not yet opted in that are in our system will receive the following notification: "You're registered 4 SchoolMessenger messages. Txt STOP to quit, HELP 4 help. Std msg/data rates may apply. Freq varies. schoolmessenger.com/tm". No action is needed to continue receiving texts.

If you are already opted in and receiving text messages from the district, you will not receive this text and no action is necessary. As a reminder, at any time users can opt out of receiving texts. However, this is not recommended. If you have issues receiving text messages from the district make sure you have the correct phone number on file with us (can be done through the Parent Portal) or contact your wireless provider to ensure that SMS messaging is enabled.
