The Day ton Regional STEM School, in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory, invites you to attend a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday June 7th at 1pm hosted at the STEM School in Kettering.

This event will celebrate the grand opening of our 30,000 square foot capital project. Hear about the impact of this new facility on the region from students and school administrators, AFRL leadership, and special guest, Governor Mike DeWine.

This major renovation expand s the school's footprint and ensures that students receive a rich experience in a facility that reflects a commitment to STEM education. Five new classrooms, a science laboratory, an assembly space, and the Vectren Innovation Lab have been created. In addition, the project allows for a 20% increase in student enrollment, allowing more students across the region to experience all that STEM has to offer.

The school's expansion is also the new home for the Air Force Research Laboratory 's 711th Human Performance Wing educational outreach program, the Gaming Research Integration for Learning Laboratory (the GRILLĀ®) . This is the only Air Force installation in a public school in the nation, making it a one-of-a-kind partnership and facility.
